Cars and Coffee

Cars and Coffee meets in Germantown on the fourth Saturday of each month, 8 to 10 a.m., in the parking lot of GPAC, 1801 Exeter Road, the city says. People bring any kind and age of car to show, or come to look. It is family-friendly and free, with free coffee and doughnuts from the Germantown Kiwanis Club. The Germantown Commissary, 2290 S. Germantown Road (901-754-5540), is an Old Germantown barbecue restaurant with a second location in Collierville, at 3573 S. Houston Levee Road. It takes catering and pickup orders on its website. Across the street, Southern Social, 2285 S. Germantown Road, posts a bourbon list.
