Seven ice cream, frozen yogurt, cookie and candy shops inside Germantown city limits, on Poplar Avenue, the Farmington boulevards and at Thornwood.

Last checked Oct. 18, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Germantown’s dessert shops sit in two clusters: Poplar Avenue near the Germantown Collection, where Baskin-Robbins, Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery and Dinstuhl’s are within a block, and the Farmington boulevards, home to Crumbl and Cookie Plug. TCBY is at Thornwood and Sugar Ghost is farther east on Poplar.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Germantown’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 18, 2026. We added places found in the Tennessee Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records for Germantown addresses and in Thornwood’s shop directory, checked each address against the city limits, and kept only places inspected or listed in 2026. Where a place’s own site gives no Germantown details, its 2026 inspection record confirms it is operating. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
