Every Germantown restaurant list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, burgers, sushi and Asian, breakfast and coffee, ice cream, bakeries and brunch.
Last checked Oct. 18, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Germantown’s restaurants line Poplar Avenue, from Saddle Creek and the Germantown Collection east to the Shops of Forest Hill, with smaller groups on the Farmington boulevards, Exeter Road, West Street and at Thornwood on Germantown Road. Each list below is alphabetical, covers places inside the city limits only and gives every place’s address, its own published hours and its phone number.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Germantown’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website. We added places from the Tennessee Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records and from shopping center directories, kept only those inside the city limits and active in 2026, and dropped places that had closed or moved. No list is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on one. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct your entry.

Barbecue and patios
Germantown has two barbecue restaurants inside the city limits, both on South Germantown Road: the Germantown Commissary, which began as a country store, and Bain Barbecue, which smokes its meats in a wood-burning pit. That is too few for a list of its own.
Three restaurants list patios on their own websites: First Watch, Mellow Mushroom and The Toasted Yolk Cafe, all on Poplar Avenue. Thornwood’s directory says Market Row has patio spaces for its restaurants.
